We're at Poche's Fish N Camp in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana! The drive in Louisiana was different as we were on elevated highway in what I can only imagine is a levy & duct system for when it floods. Miles upon miles over the bayous.
We arrived yesterday afternoon and was very pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and serene this place is. Met the owner and talked about how he bought the place several years ago and is developing even more of it. Beautiful sunset, watched fish jumping, met 2 Mallard ducks "my new friends", and are planning on some cajun creole food the next two days here and in Lafayette! More to come!
